At one time only, the features associated with opulence and extravagance could be seen in juxtaposition with crystal chandelier lighting. Today, however, even a modest home can have a chandelier hanging over the dining room table. Today in addition, it is possible to find people of lower means holding a fundraising event, in hopes of buying some chandeliers.
Why would someone with a limited income put time and effort into a quest for more than one crystal chandelier light? Well it could be that the searching soul happens to be listed among the congregants at a small church. . That church might plan to build a new addition, one in which the congregation hoped to hang some crystal chandelier lights.
That was the case some forty five years ago, when one church in a Philadelphia suburb built a new room to use during the Sunday worship service. The congregation raised money for about one half dozen chandeliers. Then, once those chandeliers had been purchased, members of the congregation learned their first lesson about all crystal chandeliers light.
Any such light looks impressive, when seen through the glass of clean and well dusted crystal. However, once that crystal starts to get dirty, then even the most impressive chandelier lighting can loose its appeal. That fact rings true whether a lighting fixture has been placed in a church, over a table or in a foyer.
Hence, the owner of a crystal chandelier must make arrangements for the regular cleaning of that chandelier. If the head of a household does no relish, the idea of washing crystal, then the homeowner needs to pay someone else to perform that task. A church that has purchased new chandeliers can appeal to the congregation for help with the cleaning of the newly acquired crystal.
Now the homeowner who has managed to avoid buying the most expensive chandelier should not fret about the added expense of paying someone to clean that same fixture. Today, a homeowner that plans to purchase a chandelier can save money by seeking out a source of factory direct lighting. Those savings can then go towards payment of someone who has expressed a willingness to clean the crystal fixture.
Of course, the homeowner who hires someone to clean a crystal light fixture should keep in mind the height of that fixture. The person who has been charged with cleaning any sort of crystal lighting must have a way to reach each smudged piece of glass. If the person cleaning that crystal fixture needs to use a ladder, then the homeowner might want to take the proper precautions.
No homeowner wants his or her crystal chandelier lighting to serve as a reminder of expensive medical bills. No homeowner wants to associate a lighting fixture with a tragedy. Instead, any special lighting fixture should provide the homeowner with a sense of satisfaction and pride. In other words, the sparkling light emitted by each crystal in a hanging or flush mounted chandelier should be reflected in the eye of the pleased homeowner.
